Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre Consumer and Community Connection Committee (ANZIC-RC CONNECT)

The Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC), based at Monash University, leads large-scale clinical trials and research to improve outcomes in intensive care.

In 2022, with the support of the Centre for Research Excellence to Transform Outcomes of Critically Ill Patients in Intensive Care and the ANZIC-RC Board, the ANZIC-RC Consumer and Community Connection Committee (ANZIC-RC CONNECT) was established. Co-led by A/Prof Emma Ridley and Ms Ann-Marie Baker, CONNECT is dedicated to embedding lived experience into ICU research, ensuring that the voices of patients, families, and communities shape the future of critical care.
